Derek is a keyboardist who has worked with some of the best musicians in the world.  Playing with Dream Theater from 1994 thru 1999, he went on to work with Alice Cooper, Yngwie Malmsteen, Allan Holdsworth, Steve Lukather, Joe Bonamassa, Billy Sheehan, Zakk Wylde, Al Di Meola, and many many more.  He is also the founding member of two super groups, Black Country Communion, and Sons of Apollo.
