Insights in Sound ft. Bonnie Hayes
Join host Daniel Liston Keller for a series of in-depth and irreverent conversations with people behind the scenes, behind the technology, and behind the music. From musicians and producers to touring pros, sound designers, inventors, and more. Some you may know, some you may not. All of them you should.
More than just tech-speak, they get into the mindset behind the creative process. They also laugh a lot.
This Friday we speak with Bonnie Hayes. Best known for writing Bonnie Raitt’s multi-platinum “Love Letter” and “Have a Heart,” Bonnie Hayes’ songs have been recorded by artists like Bette Midler, Cher, Robert Cray, and Adam Ant, to name a few. She’s released a wealth of her own material, and produced dozens of albums for other artists. As a musician, she’s toured with Billy Idol, Huey Lewis and the News, and Belinda Carlisle, and as an educator, she’s helped launch the careers of hundreds of other songwriters and musicians. With someone as multi-faceted and multi-talented as Bonnie Hayes, it’s impossible to have anything less than a fabulously fascinating and fun chat.
