Insights in Sound ft. Eva Gardner
Join host Daniel Liston Keller for a series of in-depth and irreverent conversations with people behind the scenes, behind the technology, and behind the music.
From musicians and producers to touring pros, sound designers, inventors, and more. Some you may know, some you may not. All of them you should. More than just tech-speak, we get into the mindset behind the creative process. They also laugh a lot.
This Friday Daniel speaks with Eva Gardner, bassist with P!nk, Gwen Stefani, Cher, Moby, and Mars Volta. Eva’s the oldest daughter of Kim Gardner, who was bassist with the UK band The Creation, and she grew up around her dad’s famous friends, including bandmate Ron Wood, Pete Townsend, Eric Clapton, and John Entwistle. Her parents also founded the Cat & Fiddle Pub, a fixture in the Los Angeles music scene for 30+ years. Not surprisingly, Eva’s childhood was anything but dull. They talk about growing up in rock and roll, getting the gig, and life on the road, among other things.
